• Yelling at the kids to stop pulling out the flowers around the gold fish pond
• Watching all the dads trying to put the goldfish pond back together before we leave

I love family reunion, for real. It's too much fun and way to short. Love it. Love the family. Can't wait til next year.

Of swim goggles and eye bruises

So I'm doing a triathlon in less than two weeks. Because of the fire and moving to a new house my training schedule has been a bit off. I swam laps for the first time in about 8 years this morning. I thought it went pretty well until about 2 hours later. I noticed some purple marks under my eyes. Uh-oh, I think, I didn't get all my makeup off so I wash my eyes. But the marks are still there and to my horror - oh yes I did - I had my goggles too tight and gave myself black eyes.

Take a moment to laugh because yes its funny.

Now stop and see how mortified you would be if it happened to you.

AND the good news is they're fading.

Note to self - loosen the goggles.

Happy Father's Day

Yay for dads' day. Thanks to all the dads in my life. To my dad who is the most unique individual I know and one funny guy. To my Father-in-law for his kindness. To Grandpa's-in-law who treat me like one of their own. To my own grandpas who've all passed away but remembering them still makes me smile.

To Jer for being a great dad that loves his family. I'm blessed to have them all in my life.

I have nothing to say about these pics other than he could possibly be the cutest baby ever AND I changed my background again because it seemed appropriate because it is now June 19 and summer is still not here. It's still raining. It's still wet. It's still muddy.

Life Goes On

And our lives have finally moved on from the fire. We're in a house. The internet is finally working. Annnnd, my computer is mostly functional. Here's pics of what we've been up to for the last couple of months.

Just so you know, we did not live in a cardboard box until we found a house, its the box from our couch. Jer made a castle for the kids.

We're hoping life can get back to normal now.
