I love the library. Can there be a better place than the library? Where else can you go and check out a CD of Tibetan Singing Bowls just for kicks? Turns out I don't like Tibetan Singing Bowls, but now when anyone asks if I like Tibetan singing bowls I can say - No, I don't like Tibetan Singing Bowls. And I didn't have to spend $13.99 to find out.
I love it. Plus I've requested the first two seasons of the original Star Trek and I'm number 543 of 640 for Night and the Museum: Smithsonian something or other.
L-O-V-E IT!
Seriously? What would have possessed you? Of all the CD's in the library you pick one called Tibetan Singing Bowls? They didn't have any musicals?
ReplyDeleteI will say I love the library as well. I especially love visiting it without children, which I haven't done since I don't remember when, until last night when I was trying to pick out an audio book to listen to while cleaning this weekend while I'm home alone (I think I should get an award for the length of that sentence). Anyway, I was there and just browsing, and it was so peaceful and fun, and I thought about possibly trying to stay there all night among the books. But then I figured I'd get caught and arrested, and with Nick out of town, I didn't know if anyone would be available to bail me out. So, alas, I brought the books home. But nothing nearly as ... uh... neat... as Tibetan Singing Bowls.
Ooo, I did go by myself last yesterday. Its so...quiet and restful alone. Mmmm...but good idea not to get arrested when your husbands out of town.
ReplyDeleteAnd in my own defense I checked out several CD's like Harry Connick Jr., some symphany, and the sound track of Freaky Friday which I like because its complete bubble gum music. But I was too curious as to what Tibetan Singing Bowls actually sound like. If you are wondering they sound like when you hum the glasses at a restaurant only deeper.
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
ReplyDeleteI love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach..." I love the library, too. I love checking out books, movies and music there before I buy them. That way I only purchase good things. Wise spending, right?
Hey! The both of you: stop moving in on my territory!
